Root Canals - Patient Education
Product Details
Root canals are supposed to be painful - at least that is what patients believe. A brief graphic explanation, showing specific details of root canal therapy, significantly calms patients. This presentation shows the standard small access entry into teeth; removal of dead tissue and filling with endodontic materials. Illustrations, photographs of clinical situations and extracted teeth show the procedures. Post-endodontic needs, including posts, crowns, or simple restorations are discussed as well as the alternative of tooth extraction and relative costs.
