Dr. Ryan Allen is a general dentist currently practicing in Farmington, UT. Dr. Allen completed his undergraduate degree at Weber State University, followed by completion of his D.D.S. degree from New York University College of Dentistry. After graduation from NYUCD, Dr. Allen was commissioned into the U.S. Army, where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program while stationed at Fort Sill, OK.  Dr. Allen served in many capacities within the Army and was the recipient of several awards, including the Army Achievement Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.  Dr. Allen finished his Army commitment at the rank of Major.

Throughout his dental career, Dr. Allen has eagerly sought out opportunities for continuing education.  He has participated in numerous courses in order to stay at the forefront of dentistry. In 2018 he received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), and in 2023 will be receiving his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Additionally, In 2021 Dr. Allen was selected to receive Incisal Edge’s “40 Under 40” award for young dentists. Fewer than 600 of America’s best young dentists have ever received this prestigious designation.

Since 2017 Dr. Allen has participated as a mentor for Practical Clinical Courses as well as a product evaluator for Clinician’s Report. He loves technology, and is constantly seeking the “latest & greatest” advancements in dentistry in order to provide the best care for his patients. To this end Dr. Allen has invested heavily into his practice with digital radiography, intra-oral scanners, CBCT, 3D printing, 5-axis wet/dry mill and more. This investment has allowed for in-office production of all types of crowns, veneers, implant abutments, FDPs, RDPs, retainers, occlusal guards, etc.

As a glutton for punishment, Dr. Allen completed his Masters in Business Administration from Utah State University in 2021. Much to his wife’s chagrin, he continues to search for other educational opportunities outside of dentistry.
