Enamel Microabrasion - Patient Education
What are some commonly seen tooth discolorations and how are they caused? Gordon discusses discolorations that are a result of tetracycline staining, smoking, dietary habits, excess fluoride, tooth trauma, decay, and others. Depending on the cause of the discoloration, patients can see how their own smile can be easily improved with bleaching, enamel microabrasion, veneers or crowns. Patients are encouraged to speak with their practitioner to learn which treatment option best suits their specific needs.
