Bruxism and Clenching - Patient Education
It is estimated that up to one-third of the population brux or clench their teeth. Viewers learn what bruxism and clenching is and see how these destructive habits can destroy tooth structure. Moderate to extreme treatment alternatives are compared by Dr. Christensen, along with a discussion of the relative costs of each option. Alternatives discussed include: biteguards, equilibration, and for extreme cases, crowns, dentures, and removable partial dentures.
