Dale MilesDr. Miles is an adjunct Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Previously he was Chair of the Department of Oral Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky, the graduate program director of Dental Diagnostic Sciences at Indiana University, and has held positions at the University of Connecticut and Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and the American Board of Oral Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

He has been named as one of the “TOP CLINICANS IN CE” for the past 12 years by Dentistry Today. He has authored over 135 scientific articles and 6 textbooks, including the 2nd edition of his "Atlas of Cone Beam Imaging for Dental Applications" published by Quintessence.  He has a web site for teaching dentists and auxiliaries about digital imaging and cone beam imaging at learndigital.net and a company in Fountain Hills, AZ called Cone Beam Radiographic Services, LLC providing radiographic interpretation to dental colleagues and radiology laboratory services who use CBCT. To date, he has read over 16,000 CBCT scans. He also has software for creating a CBCT interpretive report called EasyRiter available on the web as well as a social media channel for imaging called www.interactiveimagingtv.com.
