Gordon uses pragmatic, easy-to-understand dental terms, explaining the vocabulary that most non-dental persons would not know. Photographs, illustrations, models, and demonstrations are used to visually supplement the information given by Dr. Christensen. Each section concludes with the recommendation that patients speak with their dental practitioner about which alternatives are best for their specific oral condition. Our 2-disc DVD pack includes 18 of the most frequently needed topics. Each 9-minute segment can be viewed in either English or Spanish.
The Play All function allows all 18 topics to play in your reception area continuously. However, we recommend that the DVD is most useful in the patient operatory. During a diagnostic appointment or a regularly scheduled hygiene appointment, select the topic(s) that apply to your patient. The viewer will become informed about potential treatment options for his or her own oral condition, while you and your staff continue working. After viewing, the patient can more knowledgably discuss their alternatives and decide upon future treatment. Your valuable time is spent on patient care, instead repeating the same information over again and again! This inexpensive DVD will pay for itself after only a few hours of use!
