When patients receive adequate instruction about cracked teeth, most of them are eager to begin therapy. Gordon explains tooth anatomy to the viewer and discusses various types of cracked teeth - enamel, dentin, into pulp, through the entire tooth - and the alternatives available for each situation. The patient is taught with the aid of models, illustrations, photographs and magnified views of extracted teeth.
