Implants have been one of the most important advancements in the history of dentistry, but often they are too expensive and invasive for acceptance by patients. Small diameter implants provide simple, fast, easy, non-invasive, relatively inexpensive retention and support for fixed and removable restorations. This course includes differential surgical treatment planning for conventional-sized vs. "mini" implants, detailed information on flapless and conventional flap implant placement, treatment planning for restorations from full-mouth restorations to single teeth, comparison of small diameter implant systems, and instruction or all of the equipment and supplies that are necessary for you to place and restore these implants.
